When Louie arrived at Roanchar Ranch Draft Horse Rescue in the Spring of 2020, he was full of personality.  He loved being around people and soaked up as much attention as he could.  He would even do tricks like picking up various objects.  When out on the pastures, he would play and rough house with the other horses.  In fact, he quickly moved up the ranks to become the leader of the herd.

That all changed in early Fall of 2020.  Stricken with debilitating pain, Louie turned into a different horse.  He no longer wanted to be around anyone.  He would spend his days in the barn, unwilling and unable to move.  He quickly lost his position as the leader of the herd and became an outcast.

We are asking you to help relieve Louie’s pain, but helping to offset the estimated $2100 cost for diagnostics.
